Javier Calleja has proven himself to be a truly iconic, contemporary, powerhouse.
The artist’s highly stylized signature motif of child like characters, with accentuated, soft features and large, vividly colored, glassy eyes have made the work(s) of Calleja impossible to mistake for anything but.
”First Look” is a large, hand finished etching from a small edition of only 70 works.
Each work is completely unique and has been hand colored by Calleja with watercolors and hand finished with graphite pencil.
The work has been framed to museum standard with a lightly colored maple frame; the work is in as new condition.
Included with the work will be the original certificate of authenticity issued by the publisher.
